Directions to Beach Cottage
A fast way to Newport from I-5: Take Exit 228 (Highway 34). Go to the second traffic light (not counting the one at I-5) which has a sign that says “Ocean Beaches.” Turn left and proceed to Newport. Alternate Scenic Routes:
From Portland: Take Highway 99W southbound to Highway 18 westbound into Lincoln City where you intersect with Highway 101 southbound. From Salem: Take Highway 22 northbound to Highway 18 westbound into Lincoln City where you intersect with Highway 101 southbound. From Eugene: (1) Take Highway 126 westbound to Florence, and then go north on Highway 101 into Newport {slow but worth while}; (2) Take Highway 99W into Corvallis, and then proceed on Highway 20 to downtown Newport. From the intersection of Highways 101 and 20 in downtown Newport, go west toward the ocean to Coast Street, the second stop sign (not light). Turn left and go one-half block to the mailbox on the wagon wheel.
The Beach Cottage at Nye: Turn left at the small street past the mailbox, drive up the hill, and park on the left. The Cottage at Nye just go up the walkway to the right of the parking area, has a teal door.
Rates
The Beach Cottage at Nye: $90 per night, double adult occupancy*. $30 cleaning fee. No pet fee, pets left in room in kennel only. Please pick up after your pet.* 9% city room tax added. $20 per additional person. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are subject to forfeiture of the conformation fee unless the property is fully rebooked. Check-in time is 4:30 PM, check-out time is 11:00AM. (No Smoking in the Home)
